The Organizational Coaching Agreement

Coaching within an organization calls for agreements that are beneficial for the organization, teams, and individual employees you will be coaching, as well as the coach. 

An agreement is crucial. It should contain standard clauses covering all angles to legally protect you and those involved in the coaching process. Mary Verstraete, President of the Center for Coaching Excellence, has created an organizational coaching agreement template using the International Coaching Federation Ethics Committee guidelines that we want to put into your hands. 

This agreement has been consistently implemented by Mary Verstraete in the organizational coaching she facilities in business settings. Join Mary for this interactive webinar where we will examine critical agreement content and the sequential process of reviewing the agreement with the appropriate individuals within the organization.

With more than 30 years’ experience in leadership development, training, and consulting, Mary’s focus is developing leaders of significant influence and shaping professional coach training programs to deliver effective, lasting impact.

In 2007, Mary cofounded the Center for Coaching Excellence (CCE), an organization that provides International Coach Federation-approved coach training and workshops throughout the United States. In her current role as President of CCE, Mary continues to expand coaching into diverse industries by developing customized training used in companies such as ExxonMobil, Fairview Health Systems, and MJ Senior Housing.

In addition to her work at CCE, Mary is a leadership consultant and coach who works with clients in the St. Paul-Minneapolis metro area and around the U.S.

Mary is the author of Conversational Leadership©, Essential Coach Training for Leaders©, Advanced Coach Training©, LifeMap for Focused Living©, and Because Conversation Changes Everything©. She created and developed the Convergence Leadership Process©, used and valued by hundreds of leaders.

She earned a B.S. degree in Organizational Administration from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul. She earned the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from an International Coach Federation-accredited coach training school, and Mary holds additional certifications as a Level 1 Gallup StrengthsFinder Coach, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Instrument (MBTI) Administrator, and Brand Tool Box® Brand Alignment Facilitator. Mary also earned credentials from ChangeWise, Inc. as a Certified Leadership Agility® 360 Coach. In 2016, she became certified in Conversational Intelligence® with a concentration in the neuroscience of communication.

Mary hails from the beautiful Twin Cities area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, where she resides on a hobby farm with her husband of 40+ years. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her two adult daughters and three grandchildren.
